The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) was amongst the first to receive an 'in principle' approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to set up a bank in the private sector, as part of the RBI's liberalisation of the Indian Banking Industry in 1994.

is well known by its brand name SUPER Gas in India. SuperGas is a 100% owned subsidiary of the family owned Dutch business group SHV Holdings NV. The Group established more than 110 years ago now operates in 45 countries.

Supergas was on an expansion spree beginning 2008 and started to create filling stations for their LPG across the country. As their operations were centralized in Hyderabad with customers spread across the country, Supergas needed a mobile point of sale solution whereby sales at each individual Auto-LPG Distributor could be recorded in real-time and parallel, customer loyalty could be rewarded by way of a loyalty management solution. Nitco Tiles is also a SAP Pinnacle Award winner. This award recognizes their innovative usage of IT. As part of the same, Nitco Tiles embarked on a mobile sales automation initiative with the objective of empowering their sales representatives and sales managers. Nitco sales representatives visit dozens of dealers each day and book orders. They needed an application to create a quotation and request a certain discount for a dealer – all of this integrated to SAP ERP and on a Blackberry device. The sales manager needed a mobile application to approve requests for discount by his sales representatives. As managers were using a Nokia E-series phone, an application was to be made available on this device.

Kodak:
The Eastman Kodak Company established in 1888, has led the way with an abundance of new products and processes to make photography simpler, more useful and more enjoyable.

Kodak in India encountered a daunting challenge of having to track secondary sales of their products across the retail chain. While Kodak had appointed so-called promoters in each of the stores, whose job was to collect not only the daily sales and stock information of Kodak but also competitor sales information, the challenge was one of collecting all of this information daily from about 500+ stores and consolidating this data on a daily basis.

Kodak deployed GoMobile Sales Tracking on SMS such that all their in store promoters send in a SMS of daily sales and stock for Kodak and competitor brands. GoMobile sales tracking then consolidates all of this information on a real-time basis and displays secondary product movement statistics to Kodak. GoMobile sales tracking also sends a consolidated report of daily sales across the retail chain to Kodak sales managers such that immediate decisions for brand movement can be taken.
